Social Signal
Social Signal , an on line community strategy company, worked to translate PLAN's proven methodology for creating and supporting personal support networks into a web application that reflects best practices in community design. Social Signal convened a world-class design and development team to implement its blueprint for Tyze, and helped to bring that vision to life by working with PLAN Institute to create the content, facilitation and training plans for the first generation of Tyze networks.
Communicopia
Communicopia is a web strategy company that helps organizations working for sustainability and social change align behind their purpose and build meaningful relationships with customers and supporters through the connective power of the web. As a strategic advisor on the Tyze project, Communicopia CEO Jason Mogus has helped to develop the Tyze brand and to support PLAN's transition into online networking. Communicopia has also worked with PLAN to create many of its other web sites, including the PLAN institute and the Ties that Bind. With over a decade of experience in online storytelling, Communicopia's work has ranged from creating the Tides Canada Foundation site to creating the UN Foundations' Webby Award-winning Nothing But Nets.
Affinity Bridge
Affinity Bridge is a web development company that specializes in configuration, programming and theming for the Drupal web platform. Affinity Bridge has built a network of Drupal sites for the Post Carbon Institute, including Post Carbon and Relocalize; other projects include creating a sustainable forestry database for the University of British Columbia, and creating a geographic search system for sustainable businesses on Happyfrog.
Duoh
The Tyze logo and visual design were created by Veerle Pieters of Duoh. Based in Belgium, Veerle is one of the world's top experts in CSS-based web design; past projects include designing the Webby Award-winning Green My Apple site for Greenpeace, and working with Social Signal and floatleft to create Compumentor's NetSquared.
Floatleft
Floatleft is an organization offering high-quality, affordable design and web development solutions for nonprofits. Working from Duoh's design, Floatleft principal Courtney Miller created the Tyze theme for Drupal. Floatleft's past work includes creating the themes for Change Everything and NetSquared, and creating sites like Stories for Change and the Community Technology Foundation.
